What’s new

　Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Kawahara) will participate in the International Conference on Gears 2025, one of the world’s largest conferences focused on gears, to be held in Munich, Germany from September 10 to 12, 2025.
　At the concurrently held 6th International Conference on High Performance Plastic Gears, Kuraray will give an oral presentation on a new grade of PFAS-free, heat-resistant polyamide PA9T. This sustainable, high-performance material was developed in response to customer needs for compliance with PFAS regulations.

　In this presentation, we will introduce the features of our newly developed PFAS-free grade of PA9T, “N1005A-M41,” designed for sliding applications. Despite being PFAS-free, this new grade offers superior tribological performance compared to conventional PFAS-containing materials. It has been well received as a solution for customers seeking to comply with PFAS regulations. We welcome your attendance.

 

3. Exhibition Details
　At our booth, we will showcase samples and data of “N1005A-M41,” a newly developed PFAS-free grade of PA9T designed for sliding applications. We will also present application examples of GENESTAR® PA9T in sliding components such as gears and bearing retainers.
